Points forts: La tour possède une structure unique en pierre médiévale avec un toit conique qui s'élève à environ 67 mètres, offrant une vue à 360 degrés à couper le souffle sur la ville et le détroit du Bosphore. Une vieille légende raconte qu’un aviateur ottoman du XVIIe siècle nommé Hezarfen Ahmed Çelebi a sauté de la tour et a volé avec succès au-dessus du Bosphore en utilisant des ailes artisanales, marquant l’une des premières instances enregistrées de vol soutenu.
