Deutsches Museum
Najbolje vrijeme za posjet
Early morning on weekdays avoids the biggest crowds, especially in summer and school holidays. Late autumn and winter bring shorter queues and quieter galleries.
Savjeti za budžet
Standard adult tickets are around €14, reduced fares near €4, and children under 6 usually enter free; check the museum website for current prices. Booking tickets online, using relevant city tourist cards, or buying the museum's annual pass can save money and skip queues.

O atrakciji
Brze činjenice: Step inside and you’ll encounter giant steam engines, full-size aircraft suspended above galleries, and tactile displays that make complex technology feel hands-on. More than a million objects span fields from astronomy to aeronautics, and interactive exhibits let you climb into cockpits, pilot simulators, or peer into historic labs.
Istaknuto: Founded in 1903 by engineer Oskar von Miller, the museum holds roughly 28,000 historical objects, from full-size steam engines to early aircraft, so you can hear heavy flywheels thud, smell hot oil and steam, and watch brass gears glint as they turn. Several times a day volunteers in stained white lab coats run noisy live demonstrations, pushing valves and throttles while guides narrate the clanking machinery and visitors leave with a faint smell of machine oil on their clothes.
Insajderski savjeti
- Wear comfortable shoes and a light jacket, galleries can be large and a bit cool.
- Pick 2 to 3 sections to focus on, the museum is too large to see everything in one visit.
- Head to the aerospace and transport halls first to avoid afternoon crowds and get the best photos of suspended planes.
- Grab a museum map on arrival and use the central information desks for timed planetarium or workshop bookings.
