His face with fine wrinkles and short stubble is so lifelike that you feel as if you are at the bedside of a sleeping person, not at an archaeological find 2,400 years old.

Gyors tények: At almost 100 meters, it is the tallest church in Denmark and its tower is visible from most parts of the city. Inside you will find the longest surviving wall paintings in all of Scandinavia, covering an incredible 1,500 square meters.

If the royal family is currently staying at the castle, the Danish flag flies on the roof and you can see the guards settling into their beds right in the booths in front of the gate.
