Entry to the town hall is free; climbing the tower costs a symbolic fee (around 30 DKK). There is no combined ticket for multiple attractions in the city, but a visit to the town hall will set you back just a few kroner.

Gyors tények: On the 60-meter-high tower, a transparent carillon with 38 bells plays every hour. The building was designed by architects Arne Jacobsen and Erik Moller and opened in 1941, with the keys to the city still hanging in the mayor's office.

Főbb látnivalók: In an underground vault with thick concrete walls, the original keys to the city from 1941 still lie today. The most beautiful view of all of Aarhus is from the walkway below the tower, right at the moment when the noon carillon starts playing.
