At one of Europe's largest natural waterfall pools, leap from the top of the falls and experience the wildest summer. Step along the path, plunge into the emerald waters amid the thunderous roar, or grab a beer at the floating bar and enjoy nature's most generous gift.

Fakta cepat: This waterfall complex spans 120 meters wide with a drop of about 25 meters. During the summer when water flow is abundant, nearly 3,000 cubic meters of water cascade down every minute. The water temperature is pleasant in summer, making it a favorite natural swimming pool for locals and tourists alike. Jumping from the top of the waterfall into the emerald green pool below is an absolutely adrenaline-pumping experience.

Sorotan: The coolest part is that you can walk along the path at the top of the waterfall to the center and then leap into the crystal clear natural pool below. This kind of experience is prohibited at most waterfall attractions. In summer, there is also a small floating water bar on the pool. When you get tired from swimming, you can just swim over and grab an ice-cold beer. It is hard to imagine such a blissful thing existing in this world.

Inside a monastery, more than 600 nativity scenes from around the world are hidden, more stunning than any museum. Walk through the stone-carved underground grotto and feel as if you have instantly traveled back to Bethlehem a thousand years ago.

Sorotan: In the monastery's underground crypt lies a grotto handcrafted from 500,000 natural stones, recreating the appearance of the Bethlehem manger. Each stone comes from a different country, said to have been brought by pilgrims carrying soil and rocks from their own homelands.

The collection includes over 3,000 artifacts, ranging from Illyrian pottery to Ottoman weapons and traditional costumes, spanning thousands of years of history.

Sorotan: Hidden beneath the museum courtyard lies the complete ruins of an ancient Roman villa, with floor mosaics so well preserved that the geometric patterns from 2,000 years ago still retain their vivid colors. Standing on the castle tower and looking out, the Trebizat River winds through a limestone canyon, and from this vantage point you can see the bell towers of four medieval churches at once.

These syrupy semolina and walnut cookies are shaped using a special wooden mold called a "kalup" which gives them their distinctive ribbed appearance, perfect for soaking up the sweet syrup.

Tufahije are poached whole apples stuffed with walnuts and topped with whipped cream, a dessert that originated in Bosnia and is especially popular in Herzegovina where Ljubuški's apple orchards thrive.
