Sorotan: Di kolam teratai di depan rumah jerami, puluhan kura-kura yang dikumpulkan dari kawasan kota tua Chengdu telah hidup di sini selama lebih dari dua puluh tahun. Penduduk setempat menyebut mereka "penjaga penyair suci". Setiap tahun pada tanggal 3 bulan 3 penanggalan Imlek, pengelola taman menyediakan alat tulis tradisional, membiarkan wisatawa menyalin bait puisi Du Fu di depan rumah jerami, kertas dan tinta gratis.
Tips orang dalam
- The bluestone path behind the thatched cottage is rarely taken by visitors. The bamboo grove there has particularly good light and shadows for photography, and you can hear the rustling sound of wind blowing through the bamboo leaves.
- There is a corridor between the Gongbu Shrine and the Poetry History Hall inside the garden. The painted ceiling tells 12 stories from Du Fu's life. Just look up and you can see them all. Do not miss it.
- Going on a rainy day actually adds more atmosphere. Raindrops dripping from the thatched eaves perfectly recreate the scene from Du Fu's poem "Song of the Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind."
- The Huanhua Creek Road at the entrance is lined with cherry blossoms. From mid-March to early April, the entire road turns pink when the flowers bloom. Take a walk there after leaving the garden.
