Food scene is decent but not mind blowing. Found a great little dosa place near the market for 60 rupees though. Way cheaper than hotel restaurants.
The weather in March was perfect. Warm days but not humid. Could walk around without sweating through my shirt. January must be even better.
Honestly found it a bit dull after 2 days. Nice enough city but not much nightlife and things close early. Good for a weekend trip if you're nearby.
Went expecting a boring industrial town but Jamshedpur surprised me. So much green space and the roads are actually clean. Stayed 2 nights, wish I'd done 3.
Pro tip: get an auto from the taxi stand near the station, not the ones waiting outside. They charge half the price and use the meter properly.
