Fakta cepat: Enam desa panggung kayu yang masih bertahan membentang di atas air di sepanjang Pengkalan Weld, masing-masing komunitas menelusuri akarnya ke klan Tionghoa yang berbeda dari tahun 1800-an. Sekitar 5.000 orang masih menempati dermaga-dermaga ini, menjadikannya salah satu kampung tepi air yang masih hidup di Penang.
