Sorotan: On clear mornings, the first rays of sunlight hit the peak of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) before any other summit in the range, creating a brief window where the mountain appears to be on fire with golden light. Local children often race up the stairs before dawn, knowing exactly which stone bench offers the best unobstructed view of this daily phenomenon.
