Fakta cepat: Empat lengkungan batu besar menjulang setinggi 11 meter, dipahat dari granit merah muda yang diangkut dari jarak 40 kilometer. Monumen ini memperingati Pertempuran Junín tahun 1824, salah satu konflik terakhir dalam perang kemerdekaan Peru dari Spanyol.

- Combine this with a walk through the nearby Plaza de Armas, just 5 minutes on foot.
