Sagrada Família
Best time to visit
Early morning at opening to avoid crowds and enjoy cool, soft light through the eastern stained glass; late afternoon works for warm tones on the western windows but expect more visitors.
Budget tips
Standard adult tickets usually cost around €26–35, tower access adds about €8–12, so buy timed-entry tickets online well in advance to avoid long lines. Free entry is not generally available to tourists, though some city tourist passes include Sagrada Familia access so compare pass prices before purchasing.

About
Insider tips
- Book the first entry slot of the day to see the nave with fewer people and softer light.
- Wear comfortable shoes and dress respectfully, shoulders covered if you plan to visit the crypt or attend a service.
- Head up a tower only if comfortable with narrow stairs and heights, otherwise skip the tower and spend extra time inside.
- Photograph the interior from near the central nave columns for dramatic symmetry, and capture the Nativity façade in the morning for cleaner light.

4.0Arrived at 8am with almost no line. Timed entry 26€, audio guide 8€; skip the tower if you're scared of heights but the nave light and stained glass made it worth it. 5 stars.
Booked the 10am slot and it was busy by noon. Paid 32€ for entry and tower access; the Nativity tower view is unforgettable but the gift shop prices were ridiculous. 4 stars.
Went during peak season at 3pm, line even with timed ticket and it took ages to get in. Entry was 30€ and the guided tour felt rushed; the exterior is amazing but I left a bit underwhelmed. 3 stars.
