Sorotan: The Midsummer bonfire here is a colossal wooden structure, sometimes stacked 20 meters high with pallets and branches, and when lit at sunset the heat is so intense you feel it from 100 meters away. On a clear day, the summit offers a panoramic sweep from the Öresund Bridge across Copenhagen to the Swedish countryside, a perspective that feels completely disconnected from the city below.
