Fatti rapidi: Il commercio di lana dalle estancias patagoniche diede motivo alla costruzione, e una forte tempesta negli anni '40 distrusse l'originale passerella di legno. L'attuale replica, lunga 125 metri, è assemblata con legno massello locale di lenga e accoglie pedoni dal 2021.
Punti salienti: Senti la passerella respirare con l'onda, perché le travi sono lasciate con piccoli spazi, così acqua e aria circolano liberamente sotto i piedi. In una giornata limpida le bianche Torres del Paine, a oltre 40 chilometri di distanza, sembrano così vicine che potresti toccarle con una mano tesa.

- Do not go only to the pier, combine it with the Cerro Mirador viewpoint for a panorama over the entire bay.
