Loved the cycling paths along the coast. Rented a bike for 3 days straight. Best way to explore the area.
Mixed feelings. Nice for a weekend getaway but I would not spend a whole week here unless you have a car to explore Istria.
The old town is tiny but charming. You can see it all in an hour. The marina area is nicer for hanging out.
Umag surprised me. Way more relaxed than I expected for a beach town. The food was incredible especially the truffle pasta.
Honestly a bit underwhelming. Beaches are rocky not sandy. Water is clear though so that saves it a bit.
