The best part of the beach for families is the southern end with a gentle entry and sandy bottom.
If you want some peace, come on weekdays before 10 AM when only a few local swimmers are there.
Bring flip-flops or water shoes as the bottom is rocky in places, especially on the northern part of the beach.
