Fatti rapidi: L'imponente cascata di 12 metri si è formata dal salto del fiume Lech attraverso una soglia rocciosa dopo l'ultima era glaciale. Ogni anno vi scorrono ben 40 milioni di metri cubi d'acqua.
Punti salienti: Sotto la superficie rimbomba un enorme blocco di cemento naturale che l'acqua leviga da migliaia di anni, creando incredibili vortici e cuscini di schiuma. Durante la piena, l'intero Lechfall si trasforma in una nuvola bianca fragorosa che si sente sulla lingua ancora a cento metri di distanza.

- Protect your camera with a plastic bag, the water mist is intense and can wet the lens within seconds.
- Come on a weekday early in the morning, around nine o'clock no one will get there before you.
- From the bridge above the waterfall, look down into the whirlpools. The color of the water is an incredible turquoise due to fine clay.
