Fatti rapidi: Ospitata all'interno di un convento del XVI secolo, la collezione abbraccia oltre 500 anni di storia della produzione di piastrelle. Un monumentale panorama di 36 metri di lunghezza della Lisbona pre-terremoto è creato da 1.300 pannelli di azulejos.
Punti salienti: Entra nella chiesa del convento e guarda in alto: le pareti scintillano di intagli dorati e piastrelle bianche e blu che si innalzano per 20 metri verso il soffitto. Il chiostro stesso è avvolto da un fregio di piastrelle del XVII secolo che raffigura scene pastorali, dove ogni pannello racconta una piccola storia visiva lungo 30 metri di loggiato ad archi.
