Weekdays early in the morning or late in the evening, when the square is free of tourist crowds and you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. December is worth a visit because of the Christmas markets that light up the square with thousands of lights.

Fatti rapidi: Un tempo qui si svolgevano le esecuzioni delle streghe e sulla pavimentazione si trova ancora oggi una pietra che segna il punto dove sorgeva la gogna. Al centro della piazza sorge l'edificio del vecchio municipio del XV secolo, decorato con una torre con orologio e tetti variopinti.

Punti salienti: Sotto la pavimentazione della piazza si nasconde una rete di corridoi medievali che un tempo collegavano il municipio alle case circostanti e servivano come via di fuga. Ogni estate la musica del festival Musica Brixiensis si diffonde nel centro storico, quando l'intera piazza si trasforma in un unico grande palcoscenico.
