Fatti rapidi: La Tâmpa è una vetta calcarea alta 960 metri che si erge proprio sopra il centro storico di Brașov. Sulla sua cima porta una funivia lunga 450 metri con un dislivello di 180 metri.

Punti salienti: Sulla cima della Tâmpa sorge la fortezza medievale Brasov Citadel, che non fu mai conquistata con un attacco, ma capitolò solo per la carestia. Con il cielo sereno da qui si vede fino a 100 km di distanza, comprese le vette innevate dei Carpazi.

The hiking trail up the red markers from Pe Tocile Street is steeper, but the reward is a wolf viewpoint without the crowds.
Wear sturdy shoes even in summer, the trail is rocky and slippery after rain.
Avoid weekends at noon; it is best here after 5 p.m., when only locals ride the cable car.
