Fatti rapidi: La cripta sotto l'altare maggiore è più antica di un secolo intero rispetto alla parte che le sta sopra, e alla chiesa inferiore romanica si affianca quella superiore gotica. L'incendio del 1941 divorò quasi tutta la città vecchia, e il tempio restaurato custodisce ancora oggi le reliquie dei santi patroni Emeterio e Celedonio.
Punti salienti: L'ingresso è in realtà una discesa: la scalinata vi conduce in profondità nella collina, in una buia cripta romanica dove l'aria profuma di umidità e di pietra antica. Lì giace un antico sarcofago con le reliquie dei santi patroni, e sopra di esso, attraverso strette scale a chiocciola, si erge la volta gotica, due santuari appoggiati l'uno sull'altro.

- The best shot of the entire facade with its massive towers is from the other side of the square, not in front of the door.
- After rain, be careful on the narrow spiral stairs between floors, the stone is slippery.
