Fatti rapidi: In questo tempio, situato nel centro della città di Ratnapura, si venera una divinità di nome Saman, considerata nel buddismo come colei che per prima toccò i piedi del Buddha. Ogni anno migliaia di devoti vengono qui per partecipare alla processione del carro e al festival Perahera, il più grande evento religioso della regione.
