Fatti rapidi: Disteso su 700 acri, questo vasto spazio verde fu donato alla città nel 1872 da un ricco mercante di lana. Il suo pezzo forte è il lago Waterloo di 30 acri, creato sbarrando un ruscello e chiamato così in onore della famosa battaglia.
Punti salienti: Nascosti nei boschi del parco ci sono i ruderi di un'abbazia cistercense del XII secolo, dove i monaci un tempo coltivavano proprio la terra su cui camminate.
