Greiti faktai: Plovdivo Šv. Liudviko katedra yra didžiausia katalikų bažnyčia Bulgarijoje ir antra didžiausia visame Balkanų pusiasalyje. Jos istorija siekia XIX amžiaus ketvirtąjį dešimtmetį, kai ją pastatė prancūzų katalikų misionieriai, o jos varpinė yra net 44 metrų aukščio.
Akcentai: Viduje jus nustebina nuostabus barokinis altorius iš balto marmuro, atvežtas tiesiai iš Italijos. Po katedra slepiasi slapta kripta su senovinių reljefų ir freskų kolekcija, atrasta per restauraciją 2002 metais.

- Go to the side chapel where the original cathedral plans are kept. Very few people know about this treasure.
- Take photos on the staircase in front of the main entrance, where the best view of the entire facade is.
- Enter the crypt through the side door to the left of the altar. The church guide will gladly show you the way if you ask politely.
- Avoid visiting during religious holidays, when the church is overflowing with locals and there is hardly any room to look around.
