Greiti faktai: Najstariji je aktivni svetionik na Jadranu, a njegova svetlost je prvi put zasijala 1818. godine. Električnu struju je dobio tek 1960. godine, a do tada su ga održavala tri čuvara smenjujući se u osam satnim smenama.
Akcentai: Kamen za njegovu gradnju dovlačen je brodovima iz kamenoloma na ostrvu Brač, istog onog od kog je građena i Dioklecijanova palača u Splitu. Sa visine od 36 metara pruža se pogled na tri države odjednom: Hrvatsku, Sloveniju i Italiju, a za vedrih dana vide se čak i obrisi Alpa.

- The best photos are taken from the stone shore to the right of the lighthouse, where you can also capture the old stone pier in the frame.
