Buy the Oslo Pass if you want to hit multiple museums and public transport. It saves a lot, plus you skip lines on busy days.
Norway's weather can be a surprise, chilly and rainy even in summer. Loved the fjords but food prices are high, plan accordingly. Stayed 5 days and felt just right.
The northern lights were amazing but don't expect them every night. Oslo is lively with cool cafes but the city vibe is quieter than I thought.
Avoid eating at spots near the main tourist hubs. Walk a few blocks out for tastier and cheaper local dishes. Also, get a rechargeable travel card for the trams, much easier than single tickets.
Beautiful nature, very safe with friendly locals. Got a bit tired of the heavy seafood at every meal. Great trip but 4 days was enough for me.
