Greiti faktai: 1 583 metrai virš jūros lygio, tai ketvirtas pagal gylį ežeras Lenkijoje, kurio didžiausias gylis siekia 76 metrus. Jo tamsų, beveik juodą vandenį lemia aplinkiniai statūs skardžiai, metantys šešėlius ant vandens paviršiaus, o ne tarša ar dugno nuosėdos.

Akcentai: Ežeras yra ledyniniame cirke, kurį ledynas iškėlė prieš 10 000 metų, o dantyta Rysy viršūnė kyšo 600 metrų tiesiai virš jo kranto. Ramiais rytais vanduo tampa tobulu veidrodžiu, nepaprastai tiksliai atspindinčiu visą šiaurinį aukščiausio Lenkijos kalno šlaitą.

The best photo luck happens from the shore between 2 and 4 pm, when the sun shines directly on the summit of Rysy.
Bring your own food and water, because there are no kiosks by the lake, the only rest stop is the Morskie Oko tourist shelter further below.
If you want to avoid the crowds, take the trail counterclockwise from Morskie Oko lake, because most visitors turn back before reaching Czarny Staw.
