Greiti faktai: Romėnų imperatorius Hadrianas aplankė Antaliją 130 m. po Kr., ir šie trijų arkų marmuriniai vartai buvo pastatyti jo atvykimui paminėti. Vartai buvo paslėpti po šimtmečius trukusiais miesto sienų sluoksniais iki 1950-ųjų, kai kruopštūs kasinėjimai atskleidė juos beveik nepriekaištingos būklės.
