Greiti faktai: Tvirtovė iškilusi 20 metrų aukščio su sienomis iš sutryptos žemės, apimanti maždaug 4 hektarus centrinėje Bucharoje. Po to, kai 1920 metais Rusijos pajėgos subombardavo tvirtovę, išliko tik apie 20 procentų pirminių statinių.
