Raske fakta: Over 5000 gjenstander fyller 13 utstillingshaller, fra paleolitisk tid til den osmanske perioden. Museets samling inkluderer stykker fra oldtidsbyene Perge, Aspendos og Side, alle utgravd i området rundt.
Høydepunkter: Museets kronjuvel er «Den gråtende Herakles»-sarkofagen, et utsøkt marmormesterverk fra 200-tallet som viser heltens tolv storverk i imponerende detalj. Sarkofagen ble skåret ut av en enkelt marmorblokk, smuglet ut av Tyrkia på 1960-tallet og først returnert etter en årelang rettssak med Getty Museum.
