Korte feiten: Deze gotische hallenkerk staat op een heuvel met uitzicht op de Donau en heeft een enkele 86 meter hoge torenspits die de skyline domineert. Het opmerkelijke laatgotische gevleugelde altaarstuk uit 1502 overleefde zowel de Reformatie als de bombardementen van de Tweede Wereldoorlog ongeschonden.
Hoogtepunten: Beklim de 229 kronkelige treden in de toren en u vindt een middeleeuwse keertrap waar de stenen treden door eeuwenlang voetverkeer in diepe groeven zijn uitgesleten. De beloning boven is een panoramisch uitzicht over drie landen: Oostenrijk, Slowakije en Hongarije op een heldere dag.
