Hoogtepunten: In de kelder van het paleis schuilt meer dan 2.000 jaar geschiedenis in archeologische lagen, en onder de huidige vloeren liggen de overblijfselen van drie eerdere kastelen. Het mooiste deel is de Grote Zaal met 18 wandtapijten die de geschiedenis van Denemarken uitbeelden, geweven over een periode van 70 jaar.
