Korte feiten: Deze pittoreske haven telt 71 historische huizen in pastelkleuren, waarvan sommige dateren uit de jaren 1600. De beroemde schrijver Hans Christian Andersen woonde hier in drie verschillende huizen tijdens zijn verblijven in de stad.

Hoogtepunten: In nummer 67 schreef Andersen enkele van zijn beroemdste sprookjes, en een plaquette op het gebouw herinnert daar nog steeds aan.
