Korte feiten: Verspreid over zeven thematische kassen biedt dit park onderdak aan meer dan 2.500 plantensoorten van vijf continenten op 3,5 hectare. Een waterval van 20 meter stort neer door de tropische kas terwijl papegaaien en schildpadden vrij rondlopen tussen het gebladerte.
Hoogtepunten: De woestijnkas herbergt een collectie cactussen met daarin een exemplaar van 150 jaar oud dat bijna 10 meter hoog is en in de jaren 80 uit Mexico werd verscheept. Op doordeweekse ochtenden kun je tuiniers zeldzame tropische bloemen met penseeltjes met de hand zien bestuiven, een delicaat proces dat ervoor zorgt dat bedreigde soorten jaar na jaar blijven bloeien.
