The massive glass cube sits directly atop a former U-boat parking garage, giving the museum a surprisingly compact footprint of just 5,000 square meters.
Hoogtepunten: The glass facade is made of 351 specially treated glass panels that refract light in shifting colors throughout the day, so the building itself performs like a living artwork. On Level 1, you'll find the Otto Dix collection, where his biting portraits of Weimar-era Berlin society feel like they're staring straight through you.

- The fifth-floor cafeteria has the best view of the Schlossplatz from a startlingly close vantage point.
