Hoogtepunten: A steady glacial retreat since the 1930s expanded the lagoon to about 18 square kilometers, allowing massive, house-sized bergs to calve into open water. Sunsets can flush the ice orange while thunderous calving sounds carry for kilometers, creating an otherworldly soundtrack.
