Take the local bus instead of taxis, it's cheaper and runs pretty often even on weekends.
Stayed a week and honestly loved the rugged coast and friendly pubs. Food was fresh but a bit pricey. Weather was moody but adds charm.
If you plan to hike, start early to avoid afternoon winds and carry a rain jacket even in summer.
Meals were decent but a bit repetitive menu-wise. Locals are super welcoming, that made up for any minor letdowns in dining.
The nightlife is low-key but good for a chill evening. Not thrilled with the tourist crowds around the castle though, felt a bit overhyped.
