Korte feiten: Ongeveer 10.000 artefacten vullen de zalen van dit museum en tonen de rijke geschiedenis van de oude Griekse stad Akragas. De collectie varieert van aardewerk en beelden tot ingewikkelde sieraden die meer dan 2.500 jaar oud zijn.
Hoogtepunten: Onder de tentoonstellingen boeit het levensgrote beeld van de stervende gladiator bezoekers met zijn gedetailleerde uitdrukking van pijn en strijd. Het museum toont ook de beroemde tweetalige Efeben-inscriptie die oude burgerwetten in zowel Grieks als Latijn onthult.
