Het park is volledig gratis toegankelijk. Het huren van een zwanenboot kost ongeveer 700 yen voor 30 minuten en de tickets voor het nabijgelegen Ghibli Museum moeten vooraf worden gekocht (1.000 yen voor volwassenen).

Korte feiten: De 400 kersenbomen in het park vormen elke lente een roze tunnel en trekken tijdens de bloeiperiode meer dan 1 miljoen bezoekers. Zwanen glijden over de centrale vijver waar je peddelbootjes kunt huren in de vorm van zwanen.
Hoogtepunten: Bij het kleine Benzaiten-heiligdom aan de waterkant luiden bezoekers bellen en klappen ze twee keer voor geluk in de liefde. Lokale muzikanten staan de meeste avonden bij de brug, hun akoestische sets zweven over de vijver terwijl de zon ondergaat.
