Korte feiten: De kabelbaan strekt zich uit over 4 kilometer en verbindt de stations Sounzan en Togendai, met een vogelvluchtzicht over het vulkanische Owakudani-dal beneden. Bezoekers zien vaak stoomopeningen en borrelende zwavelbaden vanuit de cabins, die een actieve vulkanische activiteit in realtime tonen.
