Hoogtepunten: Het getijdenverschil bedraagt hier enkele meters, zodat dezelfde oever het ene moment vol water staat en het andere moment droge modder is. Juist dat moment is de moeite waard om te zien, wanneer de vissers de pirogues terug het water in duwen en de netten tegen het wateroppervlak klappen, terwijl de zee met geraas terugkeert.
