Korte feiten: Dit kleine eiland dankt zijn naam aan de kalksteenformatie in de vorm van een krokodil die uitsteekt vanaf de rand, niet aan echte reptielen. Bij laag water kun je via een ondiepe zandbank naar het eiland lopen, maar de oversteek verdwijnt volledig wanneer het tij terugkeert.

Hoogtepunten: Ga op de rotsachtige rand van het eiland staan bij zonsondergang en kijk hoe het tij het zanderige pad achter je opslokt, waardoor je route naar de vaste wal wordt afgesneden. De lokale bevolking weet hun bezoek af te stemmen op de maankalender, wanneer het laagste tij verborgen getijdenpoelen onthult die wemelen van de oranje zeesterren en kleine blauwe krabben.
