Korte feiten: Huisvest in een 16e-eeuws klooster, de collectie beslaat meer dan 500 jaar geschiedenis van tegelproductie. Een monumentaal panorama van 36 meter lang van Lissabon voor de aardbeving is opgebouwd uit 1.300 individuele azulejopaneel.
Hoogtepunten: Stap de kloosterkerk binnen en kijk omhoog: de muren glinsteren van vergulde houtsnijwerken en blauwwitte tegels die 20 meter naar het plafond rijzen.
