The weather was colder than expected in late spring, pack layers. The village vibe is chill but touristy areas get packed midday.
Take the 304 bus from Brasov to Bran, it's cheap and runs regularly, just buy the ticket at the station to avoid confusion.
The streets around the main square have a bunch of souvenir shops, most with the same stuff, so don't stress about buying souvenirs here.
Felt the town was slightly overpriced compared to other parts of Transylvania, but the views and culture made it worth it.
If you want to save money, walk around 10 minutes outside the town center for local eateries with much better prices and authentic tastes.
