Rooftop views and a dramatic infinity pool make it worth visiting. Float above the skyline, dine under lights, and catch the nightly spectacle.

Korte feiten: Three soaring hotel towers contain over 2,500 rooms and create a skyline-defining silhouette. A cantilevered rooftop platform stretches roughly 340 meters and features a 150-meter infinity pool that visually merges with the city's lights.

Hoogtepunten: A 150-meter rooftop infinity pool lets swimmers feel suspended above the skyline, the water's edge blending with city lights at dusk. The three towers are capped by a 340-meter cantilevered rooftop garden planted with more than 250 trees, surprising visitors with fragrant foliage above the urban core.

Hoogtepunten: Nightly light and music shows run about 15 minutes and are staged twice each evening, bathing the grove in pulsating color. Step beneath the mist of a 35-meter waterfall inside a fog-wreathed dome, the temperature drops noticeably and exotic orchids scent the air.

Beaches, rides, and viewpoints make it a full-day playground. Expect sandy toes, skyline photos, and adrenaline-packed attractions.

Korte feiten: A compact resort strip crams white-sand beaches, theme parks, nature trails, and WWII relics into surprisingly walkable distances. Visitors can switch from a cable car panorama to a beachfront bar in under 30 minutes, making a lot possible in a single day.

Hoogtepunten: Three palm-fringed bays each deliver a different mood: an action-packed beach with volleyball courts, a family-friendly cove with shallow water, and a quiet crescent for sunset photos. A 37-meter lion statue with an internal viewing platform once offered 360-degree vistas, and spotting that skeleton of the old landmark still makes for a quirky photo backstory.

Onze #1 reistip

Heb je gehoord van gratis wandeltochten?

Na reizen naar meer dan 30 landen, is er één ding dat ik graag vanaf dag één had willen weten, en dat heeft mijn ervaring met nieuwe steden compleet veranderd.

Gratis wandeltochten. Ja, echt gratis. Geen creditcard nodig. Geen addertje onder het gras.

Lokale gids, 2-3 uur

Belangrijke bezienswaardigheden, verborgen pareltjes, lokale verhalen

Eat at hawker centres away from the riverside, like Tiong Bahru or Old Airport Road, go after 7pm for cheaper plates and shorter lines.

Ik vond de netheid en veiligheid prettig, maar het voelde krap en duur, drie dagen voelden gehaast en er waren veel rijen bij de attracties.
