Tijdens de avondgebeden worden godheden zachtjes gezwaaid op een oonjal, een gepolijste schommel die bij elke klokkenbeier heen en weer wiegt, terwijl jasmijn, wierook en verschroeide kokosnoot dik in de lucht hangen.
