Korte feiten: Het museum toont meer dan 40 monumentale sculpturen verspreid over een buitenruimte van 13 hectare. Het werd opgericht ter ere van Eduardo Chillida, een Baskische beeldhouwer die bekendstaat om zijn krachtige abstracte werken in ijzer en steen.

Hoogtepunten: Bezoekers kunnen door een ondergrondse galerij van 50 meter lopen die de sculpturen met elkaar verbindt en zo een unieke mix van kunst en natuur biedt. De omringende eiken-, beuken- en kastanjebomen vormen een dynamisch decor dat verandert met de seizoenen en het licht.
