Korte feiten: Two steep ravines converge at this wild beach, creating a dramatic valley framed by volcanic cliffs that rise over 600 meters. The 1.2-kilometer stretch of black and golden sand is completely inaccessible by road, reachable only by a strenuous 8-kilometer hike or a private boat.
Hoogtepunten: Unlike Gran Canaria's developed resort beaches, this remote cove has zero buildings, no sunbed rentals, and not a single souvenir shop along its entire shoreline. What you will find instead is a small seasonal bar run by a local family who haul their supplies down the cliff path, serving cold beer and simple grilled fish to salty, exhausted hikers.

- Draag stevige wandelschoenen met enkelondersteuning, geen sandalen; de rotsachtige afdaling vanaf Tasartico duurt 1,5 tot 2 uur en kan verraderlijk zijn op los grind.
- Neem waterschoenen mee voor de kiezeloever, want de vulkanische stenen worden rond het middaguur gloeiend heet.
- Neem zonnebescherming en een windjack mee; de bries langs de kliffen kan koel aanvoelen, zelfs als de zon fel schijnt.
- Sla de wandeling over als er regen wordt voorspeld; het ravijnpad kan met weinig waarschuwing gevaarlijk overstromen door plotselinge waterstromen.
