Hoogtepunten: Strijk met je hand langs de arcademuren en je vindt een metselwerk-tijdcapsule: dunne, bleke stenen uit het Qing-tijdperk naast dikkere, donkerdere die onder het Japanse bewind zijn geled. Nabij het verre einde van de steeg wacht nog steeds een eeuwenoud stenen waterput in de binnenplaats, en op stille ochtenen is het enige geluid regen die op de dakpannen tikkt.
