Don't bother renting a car downtown, Uber is cheap and parking is a nightmare. Plus, Bikes and scooters are fun for short hops.
Food scene is amazing, BBQ and tacos everywhere. Worth spending a few days just to eat your way around the city.
Stayed 4 days and felt like I barely scratched the surface. Great mix of outdoor stuff and city buzz.
Check the calendar for free days at the Blanton Museum. Saved us a ton and the art setup is worth it.
Weather was seriously hot even in spring, pack light and stay hydrated. Loved the energy but some areas felt too touristy for me.
