Perfect winter getaway, mild and sunny when north is freezing. Skip hurricane season unless you like storms.
Mizner Park at sunset is lovely, live music and upscale cafés. Felt polished and safe, a bit pricey.
Loved the beaches but expect pricey restaurants and weekend crowds. Two nights was enough for us.
For snorkeling, go to Red Reef early morning for calmer water and fewer people, park on nearby side streets to save on lot fees.
